Malachite

It probably comes as no surprise to anyone that I love malachite.  Mostly because it’s my favorite shade of Emerald green.  But I also love that vein-y marble look.   People seem to be using it in all sorts of ways.  Here are a few pictures I’ve gathered of the many different uses of a [faux] malachite finish – everything from iphone covers to wallpaper!  What do yall think?  Do you love malachite too?

Twins!

Twin beds!

I love the way twin beds look in a room.  Symmetry is so captivating to me.  A room can be gorgeous, but if it is symmetical it can be twice as gorgeous.  Twin beds create symmetry, obviously.

I think the words at the bottom of the picture above pretty much sum it up the beauty of twin beds:

“Double the fun.  Symmetrical mirror image arrangements of furniture and accessories speak with quiet authority and keep you on the clean, serene path.”

If only I knew what magazine that was…  Damn Pinterest!

Just for today… An all time fave

I’ve had this picture as the background on my computer for months and months. Usually my background pictures only last a few weeks. I just can’t seem to find a better one to replace it with. I think it’s the legs on the ottoman that attract me… But it could be the mirror… Or the boxwoods… Design by Celerie Kemble featured in Lonny.
