hand painted walls

Hand painted wallpaper is one of the most special ways to decorate a home.  We do not get to use hand painted wallpaper in our client’s homes very often, but when we do it’s very exciting and always turns out absolutely gorgeous.  I love the look, but it is usually a little too formal for my taste… But it doesn’t always have to be formal.  You will see in these pictures that some of these rooms maintain a casual, relaxed look despite the expensive/unique wall treatments.

Absolutely love this hand painted fish wallpaper.  Talk about casual!  Such a unique take on hand painted wallpaper.  It would be so pretty in a lake house.

  1. Thanks for another wonderful post. I could look at these beautiful walls for hours and never be bored. Mary McDonald’s latest bedroom has some beautiful hand-painted wallpaper too.

  2. Just finding your blog today through Pinterest. Lovely stuff! I hope you don’t mind, but I am using one of these pretty images in a post on florals and linking back to your blog here. Can’t wait to read more. Love that you are Wheeler. Wonderful as a first name. My last name is Wheeler (husbands) and he hails from Kentucky.
    Have a great Thursday! Kim
